We head into our 3rd championship run, with the opportunity for a
2-time (and repeat) winner. Can Atco win it 2 years in a row?
They have stiff competition.
Ryan Conference: South Philly (79-71) vs. New Jersey (107-43)
New Jersey is the only team to have ever won the Seaver Division.
Last year, they had to make a late-season run to overcome Wayne.
This year, nothing was left to doubt as they steamrolled to a
BWB-record-tying 107 wins. Well, that was the old record at
least (Boar's Nest in Hall of Fame won 109). After a second
place finish in 2005, South Philly won the division in 2006 and is
back this year. It took a 1-game playoff last year to
advance...this year they fought off 2005 league champ Asia. Last
year, New Jersey won this series in 7 games.
Season series: New Jersey won 9 games to 3
League Power Index Rankings: New Jersey: 1 South

New Jersey Wins in 6 Games
Carlton Conference: The Garden State (86-64) vs. Atco (87-63)
Atco returns to defend their Conference and League titles.
Although they won 16 fewer games than in 2006, the division race
wasn't quite so close as last year, as they outdistanced both Dawns
and Aksarben by 7 games. The Garden State - known as Napoleon
for the previous two seasons - won the Perry Division in 2005 and fell
to 2nd place last season. This year, the race was never in doubt
and their closest competition finished 20 games behind.
Season series: Series tied 6-6
League Power Index Rankings: Atco: 3 The Garden

Atco Wins in 7 Games
BWB CHAMPIONSHIP : Atco vs. New Jersey
Atco started the Ryan Conference series in a 0-3 hole, but came
back to win the final 4 games in an attempt to win back-to-back
titles. Standing in the way is this year's top team in the
league, New Jersey. This is a repeat of last year's finals,
which Atco won in 5 games.
