Season Statistics

Expect to usually see these updated shortly after the completion of any week.

Unless otherwise stated, stats are based upon appearance in Benchwarmer games, not in Major League Baseball. 

Note: Because relief appearances are generated for BW games through a 6-game average, there are actually 11 Major League games that go into a 6-game BW week.  Thus the bullpen stats are derived per-game and per-inning averages.  New in 2005, however, BWB is tracking the which games a reliever is actually used - so the bullpen stats give a better idea of the job he is doing for your team.

Bullpen Statistics for each week and season-to-date display this new approach - based on how they are being used in each BWB game.  Stats used in the League Leaders for the bullpen use the older approach to calculation, which yield more realistic numbers.  And the team stats for the bullpen use the actual lines as found in the BWB box scores, not totals of derived individual stats.
